Personnel installed a box culvert to channel water from the University of Indonesia Connecting Channel (Phb) to the Ciliwung River.

"The crossing work was completed today, and road access has been gradually reopened. We want to ensure smooth access to prevent further traffic congestion," he said, Tuesday (6/2).

Sartono explained that work improvements, including the arrangement of the area around the repair site, will continue until all construction is declared safe and fully completed.

According to him, in the next week, the agency will continue to repair the water channel outlet section that was damaged due to the dismantling of utilities, such as cables and other infrastructure.

"We are targeting completion of all supporting work within the next week. Materials still piled up on site will also be removed immediately," he added.

Meanwhile, one of the local residents, Guntur, appreciated the Jakarta Provincial Government's effort in handling this matter.

"The road now looks very sturdy, and the drainage is larger. Hopefully, there will be no more road collapses in the future, especially in the Lenteng Agung area," he hoped.
